Music on the program for THE ERAS GALAS includes lively and beautiful pieces or excerpts of significant pieces – Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro Overture; Charles Ives’ Unanswered Question; Mikhail Glinka’s Ruslan & Ludmilla Overture; excerpts from Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 “From the New World”; Aaron Copland’s Hoe Down from Rodeo; George Gershwin’s Lullaby for Strings; and the marvelous and engaging Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev.
