Senior Outreach
Senior outreach brings live music into the places where seniors live and gather. Our interactive, unique performances engage and inspire, delivering the proven benefits of music—better health, greater happiness, and a deeper sense of well-being.
Ridgefield Housing Authority
The RSO provides small ensemble performances to Ridgefield Housing Authority residents.
Meadow Ridge Senior Living
The RSO enjoys a long-standing relationship with Meadow Ridge senior living community in Redding, CT. From open orchestra rehearsals to small ensemble performances, the residents are able to enjoy the live music experience in their home environment.
Ridgefield Station Compass Residence
RSO musicians present special musical performances to residents living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Music is a marvelous way to connect and interact with those affected by memory loss.
Danbury Library “Melodies for Memory”
In partnership with the Danbury Library, the RSO presents “Melodies for Memory” – a special music program designed specifically to engage and uplift seniors, individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer’s and cognitive decline, their caregivers and families. Experience the power of music to awaken memories and bring joy in a welcoming and supportive environment.
